DALTON GETTY-THE PENCIL SCULPTURER- Margaret

      Dalton getty-has got an idea on how to change art a bit .While swimming across his thoughts,Dalton comes face to face with a splendid idea-pencil sculpture.

Pencil-only a tool for painting,drawing and taking down notes-in anyone .Yes.But not to Dalton getty.This 45 years old  resident of Bridge port  for 25 years turns ordinary pencils into splendid miniature  sculptures.WITHOUT using a magnifying glass.
Dalton getty works very slowly.He dose not use special tools:as he needs only a sharp blade,a sewing needle and a very bright light.And to protect his vison,he only works for one and a half hours a day.one tiny sculpture may take several months ,and one of the previous works took him 2.5 years!
it is further known that Dalton had been carving for the past 8 years and had also tride making sculptures out of materials like-wood,soapand chalk,but eventually stopped at graphite.According to Dalton,is the perfect medium.It is soft and not as grainy as wood.

In my opinion, Dalton's patience is  amazing people, coz' nowadays everyone want to be quiker ,faster and faster.
Dalton believes that his sculptures are forcing people to stay at least for a few moments to escape from the mad rhyme of mordern life and see the beauty in miniature detail..And I too,is a great suppoterof that theory.And to me, Dalton seems as the sculptrer appointed by god.

Korean's hero (By Bin)

Ther was not some bog news about Kin Youn A after having the gold medal in the Bancuber Olympic. Recently, I heard that Kim got the second price in some contest. It is little bit long but the name of this contest is American times ISU the most influencive people in the world in single phigure skating the fifth.It's very hard to be awarded in these contest or success in this contest. It can be easy to Kim but most of the korean players or entertainers can't awarded or go on Bill Board chart easily. It is a good news for everyone in Korea. However, it's little bit confusing that Kim got second prize although she got a gold medal in olympic.I mean I think she is a hero in Korea's history but have to effort more to be the top of the world.  It's not my buisness but I want her to effort more and find her 1st prize as fast as she can. Fighting Yuna!!!

Spain wins the World Cup! -Joshua-

 The end of the World Cup came. Finally, the final match took place on July 12. Spain was on 2nd place, Netherland on 4th place at the FIFA Ranking. It was said  to become a interesting match. The octopus in Germany, Paul,  with records of predicting winners of each match correctly, bet on Spain. However, Pele, a Brazilian soccer player who is not working now, also thought Spain would win. Pele is famous of "The Curse of Pele". Every team that he said would win always losed. There were alot of controversy because Paul and Pele choosed the same team. The game was very interesting as many people thought. The two teams didn't permit any goal into their goal post untill the 99th minute. Iniesta of Spain made a fantastic goal. After, there were no special movements and the match ended. This World Cup's winner became Spain.

THE PREDICTING OCTOPUS-MARGARET-****

The squid  has became a great success that two TV networks stopped broadcasting their programs to instead show what the eight legged creature chooses to win the world cup in South Africa.It is found that PAUL the octopus chose the final winner  very quickly by selecting SPAIN in 3 minutes,if your previous choices had been made up to 70 minutes.
To my great nterest,this situation had tagged along a great argument and protesting.Fans from Holland were crowed inthe streets protesting that NO-ONE can belive an animal,and the internet sites are brusting with rude coments saying ,"lets kill the stupid octopus!"or "let us eat hte octopus"and so on whatsoever.In my opinion,i'll just let the people fuss about the animal and it's prediction."HUH! THAT'S  SILLY!"you may say.But to think again, won't it be better to stay at home all comfty waiting for the games ,than to be out on the streets shouting whatever you've got to say and then be super duper ashamed when your team lost?I think so.

News and Views -World Cup: Semifinals

 Four countries had semifinal matches: Germany, Spain, Netherland, and Uruguay. Uruguay and Netherland's match was at July 7th. Uruguay on 16th at the FIFA Ranking, beating Ghana miraculously, didn't need anything more. However, Netherland on the 4th place at the FIFA Ranking, beat Brazil after waiting for 36 years, and had to win the World Cup. It was a good game, and eventually Netherland beat Uruguay to 3-2.
 After the match between Uruguay and Netherland, Germany and Spain had a mach also, at July 8th. Spain on 2nd Germany on 6th place at the FIFA Ranking, it was said to be more important than the final match. Germany, beating Argentina to 4-0, was on the ascendence. The two teams couldn't make a goal until the 72nd minute. Spain's Carles Puyol made a goal. After the goal, there were no goals so Spain won to 1-0. I thought that Germany might win because they were having good matches, but Spain was better eventually.
